WARNINGS/OPT-OUTS

While this version of Logan has similar experiences to others we've seen, he's not the versions from the original X-Men movies, the X-Men: First Class storyline, or the movie Logan.

He's considered the worst Wolverine by the Time Variance Authority, due to a combination of failing to be there to help his team when humans came to kill them and going on a subsequent murderous rampage because of their deaths, where he killed more than just the X-Men's attackers. He went on to kill innocent people before finally breaking out of his rage-filled state.

This turned the entire public against the X-Men, even those sympathetic to them, causing everyone to associate their memory with the mass murder Logan perpetrated, rather than protesting their deaths and remembering them for fighting mutants like Magneto to protect humanity. It is also likely it turned the world even more against mutants, though this isn't said.

Feared and unwelcome just about everywhere, Logan subsequently fell into a deep depression, wearing the costume Scott Summers had wanted him to wear almost as a reminder of his unworthiness of it, and spending most of his days drinking himself into a stupor.

The biggest issues that might come up in play are:

Child murder: It is implied that Logan killed children during his rampage as he mentions being the cause of some children never getting to grow up, and children's screams can be heard in his mental headspace mingled with the adults', when a telepath was forcing him to reveal what had happened. Logan absolutely will keep this close to the vest, as he has to be extremely pressed to talk about what he's done.

Alcoholism: Logan is an alcoholic. Even if his healing factor prevents a permanent chemical dependence, he is psychologically addicted, drinking to dull his grief for the X-Men, and his guilt from failing them and killing innocent people. He struggles to exist in a non-drunken state, even drinking Rubbing Alcohol in the movie when he couldn't find anything else.

Suicidal Tendencies: Logan is borderline suicidal, laughing when Wade Wilson held a gun to his head and leaning into it. He also tried to sacrifice himself to save the multiverse, telling Wade "I got nothing. I got nothing. Give me this," making it clear that the sacrifice wasn't just about doing good, it was also about the bleakness of his life and feeling he had nothing to live for.

Options:

1) Opt out of being tagged by him entirely. While it's easy to avoid having him bring things up as he he's very resistant to discussing these things, I'm always cool with avoiding tagging someone.

2) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to child murder.

3) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to alcoholism, and/or consumption of alcohol in-thread.

4) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to suicidal ideation/behavior.
